First, you will need some supplies. You will need a pair of earrings that you want to convert into earrings, some gold-filled wire, a pair of pliers, and some jewelry adhesive.

To start, take the earrings out of the packaging and remove the wires. You can either cut the wires close to the earring posts or simply remove them all together. Next, measure the width of your desired earring post and cut a piece of wire about that size. Make sure that the wire is wide enough so that it covers both sides of the post completely. If it isn’t wide enough, you can either add more wire or use a round nose plier to make the ends wider.

After you have cut the wire, bend it into a U shape so that it forms a loop. Thread one end of the wire through the loop and pull tight so that it securely holds the earring post in place.Next, determine how you want your earrings to hang by using a loop of wire and measuring the distance needed between the two ends. Cut a piece of wire that is this length, bend it around the earring and thread through the ends of both pieces of wire so that they are connected.
